Nobuo Creative

Mason Nobuo Kobayashi is the founder and creative director at Nobuo Creative. Inspired by his grandfather, Victor Nobuo Kobayashi, a professor, artist, ceramist, baker, gardener and photographer, Mason founded Nobuo Creative with the intent to share his passion for creative curiosity. The tagline “live curiously” comes from the belief that one should never stop learning and asking questions. “My grandfather discovered many of his creative passions later in life and it was due to his desire to learn and continued curiosity about different creative endeavors.”

Nobuo Creative was founded in 2019 and is currently based in Los Angeles, California.

Onboarding:

In this step, the design studio will gather information about the client and the project they are looking to undertake. This includes understanding the client's needs, goals, target audience, budget, and timeline.

The studio will then use this information to create a project proposal and agreement.

Research:

The next step is to conduct research to gather data and information that will inform the design process. This may include market research, user research, competitor analysis, and other relevant data.

The goal is to gather a comprehensive understanding of the problem space and the audience.

Design:

This is where the creative process begins. Based on the research gathered in the previous step, the design studio will generate ideas, sketch out concepts, create wireframes, and iterate until a final design solution is reached.

The goal is to create a research-driven design solution that will properly resonate with the client’s audience.

Production:

Once the design solution has been approved, the studio will move into the production phase, where they will create the final deliverables for the client. This will include a final folder with all finalized working files, correctly sized images for digital mediums (think social, web and mobile), and an overarching strategy on how to properly use these deliverables going forward.

The goal is to deliver a solution that not just meets the client's current needs but also sets them up for success in the future.
